Hi...I have had 3 separate surgeries to remove an abscess on my pelvic wall. My GYN has no idea what it is, what is causing or how to prevent it. They do not show up on a CT scan, he has to take my word that it is there because I experience bloating that I feel isn't the same as IBS, a dull back pain and cramping,sometimes sharp pain on my left side/hip (where the abscess has been every time) I am 5'4" and currently 190 lbs.
