How To Minimize The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Vyvanse?

I presently take 70 mg of vyvance. I m a 64 year old female and have been treated for adhd for many years. I ve decided to stop the vyvanse and try life without adhd medications. I ve been taking vyvanse for 3 years and I would like to keep the suffering of withdrawal to a minimum. I thank you in advance for your answer. I m sorry. I didn t know there was a charge. You are on Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) for 3years. 70mg is the maximum dose per day and you are certainly on this dose for much period. I would say you have to gradually taper the dose if you don't want any withdrawal effects.
In my patient I would have tapered at a rate of 10-20 mg over 2-3 weeks and observed for any withdrawal symptoms or resurgence of ADHD. Along with tapering of dose, I would also suggest cognitive behavioural therapy if it's not being done till now.
