How To Lower Blood Pressure Without Drugs?

I'm trying TO FIND A WAY TO lower my blood pressure without drugs - 199/115 - Is there a way? I was turned down by dentist when trying to get 6 teeth pulled and an upper denture made 1/3/14 because of my high BP which I have always had. Took drugs for a few months 3 or 4 years ago which brought it down some but not to where suggested it be.I have read that some people have high reading naturally (?) I have PVC - could this be a cause? Which kind of specialist would I visit to perhaps find an answer? I want to find a holistic doctor as close to Brevard, NC as possible. Judy Bryson Brevard, NC

Hello!
The normal range for blood pressure is 120/80 mmHg and any number over this is considered high and need treatment.
The number 199/115 mmHg is considered very high and you should take antihypertensive drugs immediately.
People don't have a natural hypertension, they can have a essential high blood pressure that means without a obvious cause(like kidney disease, thyroid problems, endocrinological disease ect.)But this only refers to the possible cause
and doesn't mean that this kind of hypertension doesn't need treatment.
A high blood pressure despite it causes must be carefully treated. The goal of this treatment is to keep blood pressure in normal range 120/80 mmHg.

Untreated hypertension can lead to serious complications such as stroke, heart attack, kidney damage.
I suggest you to consult a cardiologist as soon as possible,he will give you the right treatment to control blood pressure.
Keeping yourself healthy and changing bad lifestyle habits is an important way to lower your risk for heart disease and this helps drugs controlling better your blood pressure.
Some things that you should do:
-Exercise regularly
-Quit smoking
-Eat a nutritious diet that is low in fat and salt.

Hope I was able to help you.
Take care.
