How To Increase Memory Power Of A Child?

my daughter is 9 years old. she cant read her lessons properly. Her pronunciation and spelling are too weak.At home we have to call or to tell her so many times then only she listens it.Everything she does is late and always gloomy,slow.She cant concentrate on one thing. Is this a problem?
