How To Improve Lactation?

Hello Sir,I am Kalai. I have a 15days born female baby. Initially I have a trouble to feed my baby; So the doctor temporarily stopped my feeding. Now my feeding is very less, so the doctor prescribed tablet lactare, Q2 powder, lactomix liquid syrup. I took this medicine for 5 days, but still now not my feeding improve. Please suggest me what shall I do now to improve feeding?

Hi, thanks for writing..
Yes, continue all these medicines till you get adequate breast milk.. Drink lots of water.. Include pulses and 2 glass of milk daily.. Oats increases breast milk.. Put the baby on to breast every 2 hrly. Sucking reflux stimulate breast milk production.. If the baby gains weight and sleeps for 2 hrs after each feed, the breast milk is said to be adequate..
