How To Heal Swollen Labia And Nipples In A 52 Years Old Female?

Hi. I am a 52 year old woman, post menopausal by three years... just lately my labia seems slightly swollen and I have sore nipples... a few days prior I had however inserted into my vagina a product called "replens" which helps restore moisture.. any ideas?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
During post-menopausal period, there is drop in levels of estrogens.
This drop in estrogen levels.
Is causes various symptoms.
Dryness of bagina and external genitalia is one of the common symptom.
This leads to decreased lubrication, decrease in vaginal fluids, itching, and sometimes bleeding.
Is there any history of these symptoms?
The labial swelling can be due to itching and/or inflammation of the external genitalia.
Soreness of nipples can be due changes in the hormone levels.
Progesterone is known to cause soreness and fullness.
You need to consult your gynecologist for clinical examination o labia.
In case there is evidence of low estrogen levels topical estrogen can help to treat this condition.
