How To Get Rid Of Tonsillitis That Didn't Cure With Penicillin?
Hey, I have tonsillitis I've had it for 6 days now. I went to my doctor and she gave me penicillin to take, I've been taking it for 3 and a half days but still no improvement. I can't sleep and I have trouble swallowing. How long until the penicillin works? Or is this a little more serious?

The penicillin should have worked by now and i think you may have to meet your doctor for considering changing your antibiotics as the organism causing your tonsillitis may be resistant to penicillin. Please dont worry, you will be fine.
