I had what a couple of doctors thought was a sinus infection. Extreme sinus pain on one side of my face. Started with a headache on the right side of my forehead, pain through my cheek and into my jaw/teeth. So bad that my teeth were feeling numb. I was perscribed antibiotics by 2 different doctors within about a month. The pain has gone away but now I get throbbing in my sinuses (not painful really) followed by dripping only out of my right nostril that is tinged with blood. Not sure how to get rid of this. I have never had allergies before but I'm wondering if that's what it is.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems like a recurring sinus infection leading to congestion and blood tinged nasal dripping along with throbbing sinuses.. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a PNS VIEW x ray or an MRI of sinuses can help in ruling out the exact cause of the recurring problems.. In case of sinus infection leading to inflammation in the lining of the mucosa antibiotics anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Phenylephrine, steroid nasal sprays, saline irrigation, steam inhalations can help.. In case of polyp in the sinuses surgical removal has to be done..
Hope this information helps..
