How To Get Rid Of The Persistent Cough And Severe Nose Bleeds ?
My husband has had a persistant cough for some time, we have always put it off to his exposure to barillium as a child. But for about 4 months now his nose has started bleeding because he is coughing so hard. Its almost like he is hemmoraging. And he bleeds ALOT. It does stop within a min most times but I'm really concerned. He refuses to go to hospital for testing because he doesn't have high blood pressure (we test it weekly) and feels fine he says.

I can understand your problem and concern, right now your husband can be given any good cough suppressant, and the best is "Codeine linctus " this will suppress the cough and will help in stopping the bleeding too, but still I would advise you to get him investigated for underlying cause of cough, take care of your husband and have good day.

Here I would like to say as per clinical history your husband may be having some pathology of nose or sinuses which is giving continuous infection to throat resulting in persistent cough and nose bleed from time to time.
