Hi, I have a brief question. How do I get rid of inverted blackheads? The dirt and excess oil build up seems to be very deep in my pores and I am unable to squeeze anything out as one might do with a regular blackhead. There is a little black hole with a small hard surrounding area. Should I see a dermatologist or are there solutions I can try at home?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of inverted blackheads which is due to clogged pore because dead skin and bacteria get entrapped in it . So i would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing salicylic acid twice a day , then apply cream containing azelaic acid and exfoliate your face twice a week specially with non comedogenic exfoliant . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper checkup and to rule out any underlying disease. Doctor may prescribe antibiotic (clindamycin) or isotretinoin. Doctor may recommend chemical peeling.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
