Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

Fordyce spots are the benign abberant sebaceous glands. They may be slightly elevated yellowish lesions. They should be kept untreated if you do not feel bad cosmetically, as the spots are harmless and do not grow in size. If you feel embarassing, you consult dermatologist for the treatment. I in my patients having such problem, go for electrocautery of all Fordyce spots. It is a minor procedure done in OPD under local anaesthesia. Cryotherapy and laser therapy are the other methods of treatment. I hope you might be benefitted with my answer.

Thanks.
