How To Get Rid Of Dark Vaginal Area?

my vaginal area is dark even though I clean and shower EVERYDAY... its been like for years now and I ve never had sex or anything so I KNOW I don t have a std or and thing of that nature. Please help/ explain on what I can do to prevent the my vagina from getting like like.. what can I do? p.s. I am african american and I am a plus sized woman would that contribute to that as well?

I have gone through your query. Excessive sex hormone action on the area gives such darkening. It can also occurs in case of insulin resistance also. If you have a recurrent fungal infection, it can also give a dark pigmentation. In case of fungal infection treatment with ointments like terbinafine and oral fluconazole will be helpful. But in case of hormonal it is difficult to remove such pigmentation. Hope this may help you.
