Im 14 and have a weird cyst (I think thats what it is) on my bikini line. I tried to pop it and it sorta worked, and both blood and puss came out. But it still persists on staying, and I noticed a second one. Its really tender to the touch, and sorta a purplish color. Should I get it checked out?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If the lesion is present at your labia majora or groin that could be due to folliculitis or any local skin infection. In that case you need treatment consisting with antibiotics and analgesics which can help in reducing the infection and pain. If the legion is act labia minora that is around vagina there is possibility of bartholin cyst in that case you need a different treatment. So, better to consult your gynecologist, get examined and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
