How To Get Rid Of Acne?

Ive been using torazac cream to get rid of my acne. its gotten better but my skin has been peeling and is a different color than the rest of my face. if i stop the cream, how long will it take my skin to heal back? And what are some steps i can take to speed up the process? creams..etc

The cream that you have using contains tazarotene, which is a potent topical retinoid.
Topical retinoids are very effective in treating acne but they have an inherent irritant potential, therefore, can sometimes cause redness and peeling.
Tazarotene is the most irritant amongst all topical retinoids; others such as adapalene, tretinoin are less irritant as compared to tazarotene and therefore better choice for treatment of acne.
I would suggest that you discontinue it immediately. Use a plain moisturizer, twice daily for a few days.
For faster improvement, you may also mix an OTC topical steroid e.g cortisone with the moisturizer, and apply twice daily.
Thereafter, you may start with either adapalene or tretinoin for acne. These are prescription products and therefore I would suggest that you talk to your dermatologist for the needful.
