How To Get Pain Relief When Coughing After Breaking Ankle?

I was in a car accident last Tues. Was admitted to the hospital dislocation of ankle, broken foot as well as ankle. I have developed severe pain(positional and when I cough. No Broken ribs but so severe when trying to get comfortable and coughing I want to cry. I am taking oxycodone flexural alive tylenol. How can I get relief when trying to sleep or getting comfortable. I'M PRETTY INDEPENDENT BUT FEEL TOTALLY DEPENDENT ON HELP. HELP PLEASE.

The pain that you have is due to the novenent around the fractured fragments. These need to be properly innobilized with a cast for proper healing.
