How To Does Mifegest 200 Mg Take To Manifest Successful Abortion?

i am 28 days pregnant and for abortion i took mifegest 200 mg 6 hours before,now i have vomiting sensation and vomited once.. after 24 hours doctor advised me to take 4 tab. of cytolog 200mg at a time. What should i do to get from the vomiting sensation??,i can't eat anything.. when and how long will be the bleeding?? will the bleeding be heavy?? how much drops of blood will go?? What will be the immediate first aid at home if anything happen..??? URGENT N PLZ ANS ALL... {i am 22 years and weight 44kg.. BLOOD GROUP AB(-) SO TOOK ANTI D injection. }

Hallow Dear,

The dose prescribed for you by your doctor is scientific dose and it will effect the termination of pregnancy in you.

Mifegest is known to cause gastric upsets with nausea and vomiting. You may take some proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole to control the acidity and some anti-vomiting drug like Stemetil to control the vomiting.

Usually the termination is initiated within 24 hours after the consumption of Cytolog tablets. If it does not within 72 hours, then you will have to report to the doctor. You may need repeat dose. Still if it does not show the action, then there are two possibilities - 1. Failure of the medicines requiring termination by evacuation and 2. Ectopic pregnancy requiring surgical intervention.

If the termination is successful with these medicines, the bleeding usually is not much. If the bleeding is alarming, please do not rely on the domiciliary first aid management; instead rush to the hospital. It is advisable to have a follow up visit to the doctor in spite of successful termination.
