How To Diagnose Cancerous Hard Bump On Lower Waist?

My nephew 29, has two hard bumps on lower waist along back, larger one is not cancer and the smaller one is cancer, not tested yet, it is hard, i was wondering what kind of cancer he could be facing and if it at all could be treatable, I know you can`t say for sure, but just to have some idea of what he is facing. Thankyou, Paige

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician i completely understand your health concerns.
For how long u are suffering from it? Any other associated problem?like fever weight loss etc. Any lymph node swelling in ur body?
As far as your case is concerned, one can not tell for sure regarding a lump is cancerous or not. The best in this case is to do the biopsy of the lump it will clearly delineate the pathology.
you should meet your surgeon so that it can be proper;y dealt.
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain
Get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
