How To Deal With Anxiety About Labor And Delivery?

Hello,My name is DeAndrea I m 40years old. This is will be my 3rd child, previous births vaginal). i m at a healthy weight. I don t smoke, I don t drink, my blood work and labs have been good through out the pregnancy. I m 38 weeks and 2 days. This is my longest pregnancy. My first child 33 weeks and my second born at 36 weeks. I had a miscarriage and stillbirth years ago. I ve been seeing a perinatolgist specialist for high risk pregnancy the entire time due to my medical history. I didn t have bed rest this time but I did have the progesterone injections again for I think 12-16weeks. I have an induction scheduled 12/8. I was told I must be at the hospital the night before 12/7 8pm. I haven t had any contractions, no dialation or any other activity. Other than uncomfortable at night unable to sleep for a long period of time. I had my cerclage removed last week. I m trying to figure out what to expect and how to prepare myself mentally and physically if possible.
