How To Cure The Ulcer On The Tip Of The Tongue With A White Film On The Tongue ?

I started couple of days ago with a ulcer on the tip of my tongue and still there and very painful! but now i also have white film on my tongue but feels like i burnt my tongue but i didnt . I thought i might have not drank enough water but i been hydrating myself.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a painful ulcer over the tip of tongue seems to be due to apthous ulcer that can be due to common causes like deficiency of iron and vitamin B12, traumatic injury to the tongue tip, stress etc..
White film over the tongue is most commonly due to oral yeast infection known as Oral Thrush..
Burnt feeling is due to inflammation of the tongue secondary to infection leading to Glossitis..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of the scraping from the tongue can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can start taking a multivitamin tablet daily..
Gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
You can also do warm saline gargles..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
In case if thrush is diagnosed you can be advised antifungal medication like Nystatin mouthwash and clotrimazole lozenges along with ample of probiotics like Yoghurt in diet.
