How To Cure The Conditions Of Heart Failure, kidney Infection, edema?

We were just told by A Cardiologist that there was nothing they could do for her. She has heart failure, her kidneys

are not working right, she has edema, I think she had a lung infection. They said her blood work is a mess. She is 75 yrs. old She has had diabetes for A long time also her mind has been going for a long time. They are sending her back to the nursing home on Comfort Care. I don't think I mentioned she is my mother-in- law. I just wonder how long she has.

HI

Thanks for posting your query.

The answer on how long she has can be told only if I could know what is the severity of her heart and kidney problem.

To know the severity of Heart failure your cardiologist would have done a scan called 2D ECHO. In that ECHO there will be a parameter called Ejection Fraction ( EF )
Normal EF should be 60% or more , the lower the EF more severe the heart failure. Kindly let me know what is her EF.

Also let me know her Blood reports , Oxygen Saturation on Room Air , Urine Output per day , her blood pressure and Pulse rate.

But overall she doesn't seems to have more than 2 months . But it could be even less which I can tell once you let me know the details asked .

Hope this information is useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask.
