How To Cure Snoring Due To Blockage In The Nasal Passage?

Hi, I had a nose operation a couple of weeks ago something oplasty it was called (sorry dont remember the name. As one of my nasal passages was blocked, the operation was a success and i can breathe through my nose a lot easier now. This was meant to relieve my excessively loud snoring, however since the Op I am experiencing increased levels of for want a better word Bogies (hardened snot) in my nose, which I think is causing me to still snore as its blocking my nasal passages in my sleep. Is this expected and will it ease off or should i see my GP?

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear I think you undergone ? septoplasty. You didn't mentioned about when you undergone surgery?? What is your age?? Since when you're suffering from this problem??

If you recently (with in 2-3days) undergone surgery means it may be due to septal hematoma or nasal bleeding. If you undergone long back means may be rhinitis or turbinates hypertrophy or sinusitis.

It is difficult to say what it is untill unless examination of your nasal cavity. please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care
