How To Cure Side Effects Of Cortisone Injection In Hands?
How can I elivate the side effects of Cortisone shots in my hand. It all started when I noticed a small bump on my right hand. This bump seemed harmless until I noticed it was growing. After a while for aesthetic reasons (no pain!) I went to a doctor. He at first glance said it was arthritis due to texting, typing, etc. Eventually he treated me with two-three shots. Never was sure what those shots were to be honest. After those shots I noticed my skin was changing color, thinning out. I thought I had an infection. After a while I was going crazy and the way it was spreading made me believe I had a vain infection (a doctor mentioned this as well which scared me). So I found a vain specialist drove two hours just to be told that all I have is a ganglion cyst and that there is a 1% chance that when people get cortisone shots, they react such as I did. Now my question is, is there ANYTHING I can do to stop or REVERSE the effects of the cortisone shot. What scares me is that the discoloring seems to grow, and the region/direction its spreading appears to be a vain which is scary. Is there a chance its infected? The vain specialist said there is no infection (just from a glance),and to just not touch it, theirs a chance is will subside on its own, a slim chance! My second question is what, aside from surgery, can I do about my ganglion cyst. One doctor said wear a small cast which will in time shrink and even get rid of the bump all together. Is their any truth to this? Please help.
