How To Cure Hearing Problem With A History Of Tympanoplasty Surgery?
Hi , My mother got operated for tympanoplasty surgery for right ear during May 2009 .we are noticing a hearing loss for her.Now he has got same problem with her left ear and doctor has suggest for surgery. How does that effect her health and will the problem be solved. Please suggest if we can go for surgery. Is that ok to get both the ears for tympanoplasty surgery ?

Check for type of hearing loss. If it is may be due to tympanic membrane ruptured or ASOM etc may recover. But age related or senile deafness may not recover. Please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
