How To Cure Fever And Tonsillitis In Kids?
Hello Doctor,My daughter is 3 years 9 months old and weight is 13 kg.She was diagnosed Tonsilitis on 09.08.14 and was given REFZILO 250 for 8 days.But after completing the course again she got fever so doctor advised to start Susp.LIZOFORCE for 7 days.Also he adviced Culture Throat Swab C % S before starting the antibiotics.The result of the test is STREPTOCOCCUS PYOGENES.But after completing the LIZOFORCE she again got the tonsilitis.Now doctor is suggesting to start Bricacef if temperature exceeds 100.But till now her fever is not exceeding 100 but the tonsilitis is swollen.Please suggest what to do.We have not started Bricacef yet.hanks

According to me dont start her on bricacef its an higher antibiotic which is not required for a simple condition like tonsillitis. .the ideal antibiotic is syrup amoxicillin with clavulunic acid combination for 5 days..and syrup paracetamol. .dont worry she will be alright. .
