How To Cure Diarrhea?

I have diarrhea several times a day, but usually only every other day? This started after have some dental work and has been going on for approximately 6 weeks. What could be causing this? I'm 51 years old, 5'5" and weight approx. 135. Normally very healthy, but this is getting old.

Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Take over-the-counter options include Imodium (loperamide) and Pepto-Bismol or Kaopectate (bismuth subsalicylate)
-Take probiotics
-Take frequent, small sips of water or a rehydration drink and small bites of salty crackers.
-Begin eating mild foods the next day or sooner, depending on how you feel.
