Hello,
Use of emergency contraception can create disturbances in the normal hormonal balance of the body and thus causes menstrual irregularities; you can see a withdrawal bleed a few days after the pill intake and/or a delayed period in the next cycle. You can wait for ten days after your period is due and if you still do not see it, see a specialist for further management. Please remember and try to restrict pill usage to one or two occasions per year. Hope this helps.
