How To Confirm Pregnancy?

Last month i messed up my birth control really bad. missed a total of 6 pills for the month.. my period was 2 days late. when i got it it was heavier than usual and i had bad cramping at first. it lasted for maybe a day and a half (it stopped when i started a new pack of pills like it usually does) now i am a week away from when my period is due and i am freaking out. the only symptom that i have is sore breasts which i usually have this far into my pills. my left breast is slightly achy and sometimes to me my nipple looks a little puffy. i am not sick or tired or anything else just very stressed out and extremely nervous. ive taken 3 tests and they are all negative. are my hormones just that messed up because of all those missed pills last month? or am i pregnant?

At the outset, let me warn you about your irregularities in consumption of birth control pills. If you have adapted them as your way of birth control you have to be religiousely regular in taking the pills, that too preferabaly at the same time of the day. Missing 6 pills in the cycle make you very vulnerable for pregnancy.
However, you did have menses. That confrims you are not pregnant. Please get that doubt out of the mind.
Soreness in your breasts is most likely due to the birth controll pills. These pills contain the hormones which are known to cause heaviness and soreness in the breats.
Please do not go on repeating the pregnancy tests unnecesarily now.
Concentrate on the regularity of your pills. If they are not suitable for you or if you cannot remember to take them regularly, shift to some other method of birth controll like intrauterine contraceptive device (CuT or Cu7 or newer devices) or condom.
If you switch over to condom, please learn the proper method of its use. Improper use is known to have failure.
I may here inform you that even female condom also is available now.
Any condom you use, remember that it is a single use device. Discard it after a single use.
Condom gives you protection from some sexually transmotted infections also.
