How To Calculate EDD From The Last Menstrual Date?
Hello Dr, i m living with my husband in France now. My parents are living in India. So here is the problem. I am pregnant. Not sure in which week I am. My last periods was on 25 march 2014. I went to gynecologist who told me my due date will be on 29 December 2014 or 6 January 2015. He was not sure of my due date or either in which week I am in my pregnancy. So I got questions. 1) when will be my due date and in which week I am in my pregnancy? 2) is it safe to travel to India now (since my pregnancy is normal)? Thank you in advance for your answers. Thank you for query.An estimation of expected date of delivery is made based on first day of last menstrual period.(25 03 14). Then add 9 months and 7 days to it .you will get likely EDD.i.e.1 1 2015.so EDD is on new year day 0f 2015.We keep range of 1 week around it for safety.You can travel in now with all precautions.Dr Bharatesh
