How To Ascertain That My Abortion Is Complete?

I had a surgical abortion 3 days ago. I was only 5 weeks pregnant.
I have a feeling that the abortion missed my baby..
If I went to the hospital and just told them I was pregnant and bleeding to get an ultrasound, would they be able to tell I had an abortion? If my baby is still alive, or left over tissue? Or could it be passed off as a miscarriage

Hello dear
Understand your concern
Better to go to a doctor that done your surgical abortion. Why do you want to go for another hospital/doctor. Surgical abortion should be done by experienced gynecologist under aseptic condition to prevent complication.
Just consult the gynecologist and tell your previous history of surgical abortion that help you in better treatment.
It is difficult to say whether abortion is surgical or miscarriage, but experienced person easily come to know from your history and by USG examination.
If incomplete abortion is there , it will easily identified in the USG scan.
Incomplete abortion should be treated by misoptostol or D& C procedure.
So do not worry if still you have bleeding , consult the gynecologist for sfer side.
Hope this may help you
Thanks and regards
