How Soon Can One Conceive After An Abortion?

I had a surgical abortion last week Tuesday, March 28. I was forced to do it and now regret it and want to conceive again ASAP. I was about 12 weeks along and before this I always had a regular and consistent period with a 27 day cycle. I want to know what are my chances of conceiving and carrying a healthy pregnancy if I try to conceive this ovulation? I also want to know is it possible to ovulate with hcg still in my system?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Please understand.. gone are the days when a woman could be forced for aborting pregnancy (unless of course there is some concern of fetal abnotmality or mother's health)
You had surgical abortion of 12 weeks pregnancy. There is hormonal imbalance following abortion.. which causes irregular or anovulatory menses for few months.
* In case you are in hurry... you can test for ovulation with LH surge test &try from the +ve test day for 6 days . That will help conception.
Weakness incurred following abortion must be compensated by iron/protein suppliments.
*Ideally we wish for having a gap of 3 months (preferably with abstinence-so as to avoid stress or infection to genitals /by taking 3 month course of oral contraceptives&iron,proteins suppliments to improve mother's health. Plus folic acid 5 mg daily consumed by both partners .. for healthy pregnancy... for these 3 months.
This way the hormonal imbalance is corrected/there is rebound ovulation following suppression by contraceptives resulting in early conception /mother's health becomes normal & healthy pregnancy is assured.
