How Safe Is Pregnancy, Post A D And C?
hello doctor, My periods are irregular and i was pregnant for about 7 weeks but unfortunately it got aborted naturally and i had a D & C on 27th October 2010 . Till now i didn t get my periods and i had taken MEPRATE from 1st to 5th Dec. still i din t get my periods.Is there any chance of pregnancy again ? and how safe it is if it is positive after a D & C without getting your periods.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns . Pregnancy is possible immediately after D&C. There is no harm to pregnancy, if conceived immediately after abortion.
However, meprate has a risk of causing congenital anomalies in the fetus.
