How Safe Are Iron Infusions With History Of Severe Medication Allergies?

I have had throat swelling and sob from a number of antibiotisa, pain meds, aspirin, and topical novacaine- like meds. I have steroid-dependent allergic asthma. Senior that carries Epi and scheduled for injectafer infusions with steroid and antihistamine pre meds. How safe are iron infusions with history of severe med allergies?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

Allergy can occur to any medicine & drug. If you have allergy to number of antibiotics, pain killer like aspirin, and topical novacaine It is not necessary that you have problem with iron diffusion.
Normally iron infusion are safe & most patient does not have any problem with them. If you want to be extra sure tell your doctor to have a allergy testing of iron infusion & then infusing it.
