How Many Days Does It Take To Regain Consciousness After A Brain Hemorrhage ?
dr,one of my close relative is admited in icu coz of sudden speech arrest and rt sd weakness .after mri it was sd she (age 42)had left brain haemorage,since cond wk surgery has done.she is in ventilation support .her eyes half opened ,no eye bal rotation, dr saying we have to wait .kindly advice how many days it take to come 4 concious

Such conditions develop due to negligence of blood pressure. Now it may take long time to recover. Return of consciousness depend on condition of the pationt.

Hi,thanks for query.Due to hemorrhage the brain at particular area is compressed.This leads to the problem that she had.After surgery at any place in the body ,the body reacts to it.This increase swelling at the site.If things are fine and surgery done in time ,the results are good.She should respond in about 24-72 hours after surgery.Please discuss more of this with your doctor.bye.
