How many calories should an aging woman who has diabetic have?

Being the age of 51yrs of age being a diabetic starting out how many calories a day should a women have. And When counting calories or looking to see how much sugar is in whatever you eat about how much are you supposed to be having a day. For instance I bought a mix of chocolate chip cookies that the sugar had 13 grams. is that ok or not.

Calorie intake based on weight.

Overweight----- 25Kcal/Kg/Day
Idealweight----- 30Kcal/kg/Day
Underweight---- 35Kcal/Kg/Day

Distribution of Nutrients in the Diet

Carbohydrates 60 to 65 % 300 gms (approx)
Proteins 15 to 20 % 50 gms
Fats 15 to 25 % 30 gms

Sugar in cookies is from glucose which is a monosaccharide and it is not a best choice for Diabetcs.
