How Long Will It Take To Recover From A Caffeine Overdose?
Hello, I am 17 years old, and almost 2 weeks ago i experienced a caffeine overdose caused by a dangerous pre-workout supplement. Throughout this time i have quit smoking cigerettes and marijuana and and experienced many withdrawal symptoms. The first week or so was horrible and could barely see straight. body temp was fluxuating and I was shaking badly. the severe symptoms have worn off, but when i wake up in the morning i feel very disorientated (almost a hungover feeling) which goes away throughout the day. I was just wondering if this is normal and how long it should last? Thank you very much, awaiting your response. Reassurance feels great.
The exact duration taken by the body to get back to normal depends on the extent of abuse and how long have you been doing drugs. Since you have already improved a lot, I expect you to improve gradually with time. If you remain abstinent, you can expect to get back to normal in two to three months time. Till then, try to take a healthy diet and regular exercise. Vitamin supplements also help hasten recovery.
Best wishes.
