How Long Will It Take To Be Normal Aftersurgery For Appendicitis?

Hello Doctor, I've had been in a surgery for appendicitis last October 28, 2011. How long will it take for me to get back to my normal activities like playing badminton and tennis? Another thing is the issue about lifting things...how many weeks should I need to wait before I can lift something? Thank you so much.
