How Long Will It Take For One With Hyperthyroid To Get Normal Hormonal Values Post Intake Of Thyronorm ?

I am suffering from hyperthyroidism . Last month only I did a thyroid test and I found my TSH is 9.36, T3, T4 are normal. My doctor prescribed thyronorm 75mcg, which I am taking for last one month. How much time it will take to get back into normal hormone level. So that I can conceive. I am really conscious about my pregnancy. And I am running on my 30.

Hi, welcome to H.C.M.Forum. what you are having is hypothyroidism, it can interfere with conception but can't cause infertility, and you are not beyond the limit. so you forget about it. to conceive both of you should go to the fertility clinic or a gynaecologist, and both should get tested and treated. over anxious ness can still become an obstacle for fertility. best of luck.

the thyroid should be controlled before conceiving.

along with allopathy medicines you may take the following ayurveda medicines

1.varanadi kashayam tablets 2-0- 2 before food

2. kanchanara gulgul ds 2-0-2
