My husband started feeling achy and nausea last night and by 12pm he is vomitting every few hours. Today he was in bed all day and doesn't have any strenghth, I gave him gatorade and smart water. he has only drank about 8 to 10 ounces all day if that. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there,

The symptoms your husband is having are related to possible flu with gastrointestinal illness (viral gastroenteritis).

If he is not able to drink (water, juice, oral rehydration salt juice) for the next couple of days, then, you can call emergency and get your husband checked by a doctor in ER and get i.v. fluids.

Meanwhile, encourage him to take lots of fluids and :
- oral rehydration salt
- probiotics

you can find them at over the counter.

Wish fast recovery!
