First treatment was Thursday and 2nd treatment of 6 is this Thursday but my eye is feeling worse not better so unsure how long to give it before calling my eye doctor or thryoid dr.
Hi.. Welcome to HCM.. At what stage is your thyroid eye disease? When the treatment is started inflammatory signs will come down like redness, congestion etc., It will take time. We can't exactly say the time period..depends on the severity and some signs like bulging of eye may remain for a long time.. Discuss with your ophthalmologist ragarding how he/she is expecting the treatment to be continued and you need to consult the endocrinologist/general physician for the thyroid levels to be brought under control.. Hope this information is helpful to you.. Take care.. Will be available for further queries if any..
