How Long Should One Wait Before Trying To Conceive After Removing Minera IUD?
had minera IUD places approximately 3 1/2 years ago. I am scheduled to get it removed friday November 19th. have read a lot of personal experience stories and am scared from all of the stories about women who get pregnant almost immediately only to miscarry. How long should you wait before trying to conceive after removing minera?

Hi, I think there is no problem in conceiving after mirena removal. You can start trying anytime after its removal. Generally it takes 6 months to one year for ovaries to regain it's function after removal of mirena. So, it may take some time to conceive, but there is no risk of miscarriages even if you conceive immediately after removal. Hope I have answered your question.
