How Long Should One Wait Before Testing For Pregnancy?
What is the maximum time of confirming pregnancy, As my wife has missed her period and is now 40 days from the last period and ovulation happened on 14th day of the last period. How much maximum time can i wait to confirm pregnancy?? and secondly the home pregnancy test was Neg on 36th day (from last period)

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion urine pregnancy test gives accurate results if done after a week of missed period.It is positive usually after 35-40 days after period in case of pregnancy.I suggest yup to repeat the test after a week.And whatever the result is consult gynaecologist for further management.
