Hi,

Primolut N is a medication which should be taken 5-7 days before the expected date of menstruation (to delay menstruation). Primolut N (5 mg tabs) should be taken three times (some prescribe twice daily) a day for 10-14 days. Periods will start 2-3 days after stopping the medication.

Visit a gynecologist and take the medications under the consultation of a PCP.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
