How Long Should I Not Travel When Having Low-lying Placenta?
Im 16 weeks pregnant. the ultrasound at 13 weeks showed that my placenta was slightly low lying and hence I was not allowed to travel to my home town. I feel miserable in the present city and want to go to my hometown as soon as possible. How long should I wait before travelling by train. Im 33years old.
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic I have gone through your question and I understood your problem. At gestational age 13 theres no demarcation between upper and lower uterine segment so placenta will always be low lying which will migrate upwards with time. And about travelling I will suggest you to avoid long journey and if at all you are very much keen to travel prefer a route which will provide you least shocks. For your gestational age air travel is the best.Thank you.
