How Long Does It Take To Recover From Acid Reflux?
hello doctor, i have been having throat irritation, having to constantly clear my throat, mucous from the throat for the past 3 months, first i was put on pariet 20mg per day for 2 weeks but no improvement. then i was given nexium for 2 weeks but again no improvement. then got a gastroscopy done. the result was chronic gastritis and esophagitis. now i have been put on pariet 20 mg 2 times a day for 9 weeks. how long will it take to recover from this acid refux? what foods should i avoid?

I think you should take it at least for 2 weeks before seeing any effects . Avoid fatty and fried spicy foods .
