How Long Does It Take To Heal A Cut In Case Of Parotidectomy?

Hi, I had parotidectomy 1 month ago and I m still having saliva accumulating on the side of my cheek when I eat I have a hard lump. Then I developed a fistula which somehow it eased the lump because saliva came out of it during eating but it was uncomfortable. Then my surgeon sort of cut it open cleaned it. under local anaesthatic and stitched again. He said it takes a week to seal and instructed me that during eating I press it down, but it s still uncomfortable to eat. What I m noticing now that during eating this lump is still forming, how long does it take to heal Thanks
