How Long Does It Take To Cure Skin Peeled Off From Pimple?

i have a burn in the middle of my forehead from putting toothpaste on a pimple, a layer of skin peeled off last night. now its red and smoothe. just need to know how long until it all goes away, or if there is something i can do to help it. so embarrassing as its pretty big :(

Hello. Thank you for writing to us

You have developed irritant dermatitis to toothpaste.
I understand your concern because it must be unsightly and making you conscious in front of others.
I suggest you to use an OTC topical steroid e.g cortisone cream, twice daily over the irritated spot.
That should make it fine in about a week's time.
Avoid soaps. Use a gentle cleanser instead e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily.
Protect from sun. You may use a broad spectrum sunscreen, throughout the day.
