Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I would like to tell you that preauricular pit is a congenital defect. This pit has a tendency for getting infected from time to time. As far as treatment is concerned it only surgical excision of entire pit and tract. Medical treatment is only giving you temporary relief.

This is treated by a minor surgery and results are usually excillent.

Thanks for consulting HCM.

HI
Well come to HCM
It is all depends the underlying pathology if you did not find any relief then some other etiology could be there and the treatment need to be given accordingly some time late response seen with such drugs and looking this you can still wait couple of days, hope this helps, take care.
