How Long Does Blood Sugar Level Take To Normalize After Treatment?

sir My random blood sugar level found 262 & the doctor advice me to take one Zoryl-1 + one metformin tablet in the morning & one metformin at night . I want to know , how much time it will take to control the blood sugar and how much long time it will be required. with regards

Hi, i had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Sir/ Mam, the drugs prescribed very effective drugs in controlling blood sugar levels. Usually the tablets acts for 8-12hrs. To keep the sugar levels under control throughout the day, they were prescribed both morning and evening doses according to your sugar levels.

Sugar levels get under control with in 2-3 hrs after the tablet is taken and the drug keeps them under control for the rest of time. But to keep them under control, drugs should be taken continuously. There is nothing like sugar levels are controlled and can stop medication like some other illness. They should be continued for life in order to keep sugar levels under control.
