How Long Does An Eye Injury Take To Heal?

I am currently recovering from an eye injury. Basically i hit myself in the eye with a drum stick which caused some bleeding, temporary loss of sight and swelling of the eye. I was prescribed eye drops and at my check up 3 days after the initial injury i was told it was recovering well. My question is this. In 8 days time i am due to be flying abroad. Will my eye have recovered sufficiently enough to be able to take the flight?

First of all whether the bleeding is inside the eye or is it over the white part covering the eye.If it is the first one then depending on the amount of bleed the duration increases and if the case is of latter type then no need to worry.Looking at the recovery you are saying then I believe it should recover almost to normal level with the time you want to fly.But it all depends on the amount of bleed it happened.
