Hello,

Champix is a brand name of vernicilline and it is used to help people to quit smoking.

It will not stop coughing. You might be having an allergic cough, as a first-line management you can take over the counter available expectorant cough syrup and antihistamine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
